Think Crunches = Abs? Think Again!

General Add comments

Do you think if you do crunches, abs will be the result? Think again. This is not the case at all. For many years, people believed the only way to get the abs of their dreams is to do as many crunches as they can until their eyes cross. They also think starving themselves will speed up the process. To their thinking, crunches, abs, and weight loss are three things that are inter-connected. This isn’t the case at all. Crunches and boring, repetitive cardio work in general are probably the least effective way to lose weight. This is because they do not increase your metabolic rate or trigger the hormonal response you need to trim your midsection in as little time as possible.

In the truth About Six Pack Abs, Mike Geary reveals killer strategies for trimming the midsection. The strategies are for men and women. According to Geary, it’s not true that men and women need to eat or train differently to become lean. The nutrition and exercise they need are more or less similar; they only differ in two things – one, women need fewer calories than men; and two, women usually lift lighter weights than men. So it’s possible for men and women to follow the same training routines and dietary strategies to get a head start in the campaign to lose body fat.
