Besides the health-related issues associated with being overweight, it can cause severe emotional problems like depression and low self esteem. There are a lot of weight loss tips that work, and the trick is figuring out what will work best for you.
There are so many weight loss programs and products available today, it’s hard to tell what will work, or what’s healthy. I’m going to review some of the simple, basic and healthy weight loss tips that work fast, including the best diet to lose weight fast.
Best Diet to Lose Weight Fast
Everyone wants a "quick fix" like all the weight loss pills and drinks available today that promise fast weight loss, but can also be dangerous and unhealthy. Below are some real, proven simple ways to lose weight fast; BUT, as you know, losing weight has to involve Discipline and Determination if you’re going to succeed. Here are some simple things you can do that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, and are the healthiest ways to lose weight:
Reduce / Moderate:
- Sugars, especially processed sugar (sucrose-white sugar). Besides adding unhealthy weight, it robs your system of nutrients, which causes "cravings" and "binges". It kills good bacteria and suppresses your immune system. It’s "toxic" to your system, depletes your potassium and magnesium, and is responsible for many diseases and degenerative conditions. It’s in more foods than you realize, and soda is the Worst. Look for sugars, fructose, lactose, syrups, malto-dextrin and many other forms of it in the “ingredients”.
- Processed foods are loaded with additives, preservatives, coloring, sugar, salt, starch, unhealthy fats and oils, and "natural and artificial flavors", most of which are chemicals. The healthy nutrients to protect your heart, like soluble fiber, antioxidants, and "good" fat are removed. Corn syrup and "partially hydrogenated oils" are BAD. There are a lot of "mystery ingredients" in processed foods that you can’t even pronounce, and can damage your body. If you don’t know what it is, you probably shouldn’t eat it!
- "Junk" foods. We all know this, but just being more conscientious about what you’re eating or drinking will help a lot. Again, look at the ingredients.
- Starches (i.e., complex carbohydrates, modified starch-BAD) are in so many foods; again, read the labels. Prepared/processed foods have a ton including pasta, bread, pancakes, cereals, and rice. Good natural foods with starch include seeds, fruits, roots, corn, potatoes, wheat, and rice.
I’m not saying you should cut all of these things out of your diet, but just remind you to Be Aware of What You’re Ingesting. If you kept track of everything you drink and eat, you’d be surprised how much weight you could lose by cutting here and there, not to mention how much better you’ll feel, and the healthier you’ll be!
